Seclusion Mattress

Seclusion mattresses are ideal for situations where there is an element of self-harm involved. It is made from a solid combustion modified foam that is wrapped in a heavy duty polyester PVC cover

The cover is high frequency welded on all 4 sides in order to prevent the cover from being removed and to also withstand both deliberate and accidental damage to the cover

Can be used without a bed frame. Comes with or without a built in pillow. Ideal for high-dependency units, bail hostels, mental health units and other secure units




  • Solid combustion modified foam core
  • Measures: 190 x 90 x 50cm standard size. Bespoke sizes available
  • Wipe clean, vandal resistant heavy duty PVC cover
  • Seams are fully welded on all 4 sides meaning there are no zips, openings or sharp edges which could cause damage to staff or the user
  • Can be printed with customer logo and cleaning instructions
  • Meets BS 7177 ignition source 5
